Bent PM Tool

A custom PM tool replacing Procore for a California GC, shipped module by module.

The problem

Bent's PMs were spending hours every day fighting Procore for routine tasks — drawing markup, spec lookups, submittal status. The off-the-shelf tool fit a generic GC, not theirs. We're rebuilding it around how their crew actually works, one module at a time, on a 16-week migration plan.

What we built

  • Discovery program: 6 PM/super interviews, workflow cards for every job role, six-module-group architecture
  • Module 1 — Drawings, Specs, Documents: live prototype with circle-to-spec, audits, cloud watcher, one-way sync
  • Module 2 — Submittals + RFIs: in build, demo this week
  • Migration plan: 9-phase, 16-week rollout from Procore to the new stack with zero job downtime

Signal

  • PM Tool live in pilot ahead of Module 2 demo
  • Client signed off on Module 1 PRD; committed to Module 2 scope
